The Dorothy Day Hospitality House in Rochester, MN is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that depends entirely on financial and in-kind donations from private donors and charitable organizations. We receive no federal, state, or local assistance, so we greatly appreciate your help. We are a 100% volunteer-run House, so 100% of financial and in-kind donations go toward serving our guests.

Supplies needed on a regular basis include:
- Laundry soap and bleach
- Coffee
- Cereal
- Toilet tissue
- Individually wrapped toothbrushes
- Paper towels
- Napkins
- Tall kitchen garbage bags; large yard bags
- Cleaning supplies for bathrooms and kitchen
- Dish cloths
- Gently used blankets
- Bath towels
- Backpacks
- Gift cards to Hy-Vee, Target, & Walmart
Clothing items that we can donate to guests:
- Winter jackets, hats, gloves, boots
- Sweatpants
- Sweatshirts
- T-shirts
- Underwear / socks
- Shoes (lightly used is ok)
Clothing items that we unfortunately can not take due to lack of storage:
- Jeans or pants (casual or dress)
- Shirts (casual or dress)
